Lakers get:
Ray Allen
Brandon Bass
Avery Bradley
Celtics get:
Pau Gasol
Lakers do it for better shooting and guard defense. Bass is a solid starting PF.
Celtics reportedly had interest in Gasol this season. He'll help in rebounding and will be a good post presence for them. As good as the players they give up are, they may be able to replace what they lose in the trade in free agency.
Idea: Gasol for Allen/Bass/Bradley

They would not do that. They love Bradly, Bass is solid for them as you said. Actually i think gasol would be much better with them but his value got a real hit last two years so they wont buy it.

Yeah, I'm not sure what type of value Gasol will bring in either.
I'm trying to look at it glass half-full though. The rumored trade discussions we've heard this season still make it seem like he has a lot of value. He still had a pretty good season despite taking a backseat to Bynum in terms of role in the offense. He's a very talented big, which is very hard to find these days in the NBA.

I could see them trading Allen and Bass for Gasol...but adding Bradley is a no no for the Celtics.

Really? None of the players the Celtics are giving up are great or anything. Ray Allen is probably leaving no matter what anyway.
I guess maybe Pau has really fallen off that much.
