i was never a big baseball fan, but can u explain this to me...

is it that the overall quality/skill of pitchers are improving, or are hitters just really [expletive]ty nowadays?

I think it has something to to with a HUGE crackdown on PED's by MLB.

Just a few years ago we used to have multiple guys hitting 45+ homeruns, we haven't seen that in a while.

That's my guess.

I agree with TLF, it's a pitchers league now.
