Lol D-Wade is not a top 5 player. Stop overrating the man.

You really dislike Wade, don't you? Lol. You could make the argument that Wade was the best player in the league last season and he showed it with his Finals' performance against Dallas last year but he has regressed this season. Iv'e heard that he is injured and isn't close to 100% but I truthfully believe that he is breaking down somewhat because of his age and style of play through the years. With that being said, he is still a superstar and he and LeBron benefit immensely by playing with each other. There are many all stars in this league but not many superstars, IMO.

Compared to Boston, you can make the case that OKC has greater stars/superstars, more young, more explosive, more hungry, more battle tested these playoffs, more healthier, better depth, home-court advantage, and are just an overall better team than Boston. So if that's the case and considering Boston was still able to take them to seven games, I'd give OKC a pretty good shot.

Also, hopefully Fisher or Collison can take a few charges on LeBron & Wade as well & discourage them at least a bit from bulldozing their way as much.

I despise both teams and wont watch the Finals at all.

I find that extremely hard to believe even as much as you deny it's untrue.

Should be a good series, unless it becomes a free-throw fest...

Seriously. My concerns as well.

I want OKC to win but I dont know. Heat are playing well. Chris Bosh is back and hes keeping the defense honest for Lebron and Wade.

I think we might see tons of cross matchups...Westbrook on Wade, Ibaka on Lebron.

I don't dislike him at all but to say he's a top 5 player in the league still is crazy to me. If this was last year I'd actually agree.

Ill take Harden over Bosh any day. Wade is better than Westbrook and LeBron and Durant are about even. Assuming they all cancel each other out, Ibaka, Sefolosha, Perkins etc...are all better than the garbage the Heat have. If you think LeBron is going to win a game by himself against OKC like he did to Boston, you are delusional.

You see this little hole? This moth's just about to emerge. It's in there right now, struggling. It's digging it's way through the thick hide of the cocoon. Now, I could help it - take my knife, gently widen the opening, and the moth would be free - but it would be too weak to survive. Struggle is nature's way of strengthening it." - John Locke

*you're

I would agree if Wade looked like himself. He doesn't so it may be close now. When he's himself, I would easily take him over Westbrook.

I want the Thunder, If you look at Laerks playoff history since Kobe got here, whoever beats us, does quite well.

1997: Lost to Jazz, NBA Finalists
1998: Lost to Jazz, NBA Finalists
1999: Lost to Spurs, NBA Champs
2000: Lakers NBA Champs
2001: Lakers NBA Champs
2002: Lakers NBA Champs
2003: Lost to Spurs, NBA Champs
2004: Lost to Pistons, NBA Champs.
2005: DNQ
2006: Lost to Suns WC finalists.
2007: Lost to Suns WCSF
2008: Lost to Celtics, NBA Champs.
2009: Lakers NBA Champs
2010: Lakers NBA Champs
2011: Lost to Mavs, NBA Champs
2012: Lost to Thunder, NBA Champs?

We won 5 titles and lost to the eventual champion 5 times. One more possible. Only the Suns failed to make the finals. so, ptentially, had we not lost the sreies we did, we had championships in 2004 and 2008, and a good shot in most the other years at a title. We truly are better with Kobe than any other team in this era, it mostly took a champion to beat us, or we became the champs. Only the Spurs could come could compare, that's how good they have been.

Seasons the Celtics lost ECF when Lakers won the championship (7): 1953, 1954, 1972, 1980, 1982, 1988, 2002
In NBA history, the Lakers have finished better than the Celtics by a margin of 41-25!

Thunder in 6.

Reasons - OKC:

Just as athletic
Have size advantage
Teams have had to match up with Miami, not issue with OKC
Home court advantage (undefeated at home)
Better bench (Harden)
Speed of play is far different than NY, Indiana, and Boston
Heat cannot afford to go stagnant on offense, Thunder will extend lead in a flash
Road to finals tougher: DAL, LA, SA <<<<< NY, IND, BOS

Don't get me wrong, the Heat can beat the Thunder but this isn't the matchup that favors Miami, which is not something the Heat are used to.

Should be a great finals though. This was my Finals prediction before the season.

I'm going to go with the Thunder in 6. I think most of us can agree the Thunder pose a greater offensive threat than the Celtics. Westbrook, although not as good as Rondo, can still penetrate well. Durant is a more potent scorer than Pierce. And Harden is amazing off the bench. This series is going to come down to the defensive end, where I feel like the Thunder are better than the Celtics on the inside. Ibaka can play Bosh well and Perkins can still hang around in the middle and give the Heat some problems when LeBron penetrates.

No they're not.

Durant = LeBron

Westbrook = Wade

Harden > Bosh

Add to the fact that OKC's trio is much healthier I'll take them all day.

Thats a joke right? Westbrook doesn't average as many assists as Rondo but he averaged more than double PPG. If Rondo dropped 44 on the Heat, its scary to think what Westbrook, a much better scorer than Rondo, is capable of.
