Nobody's talking about this one haha, but everyone goes crazy over LeBron's 45.

His averages were damn solid I can't believe even I forgot. 30.7 points 7 rebounds 5.7 assists and shooting 48%.

The most amazing thing to me is he is still arguably the best player in the NBA after like 12 years

Shaq called Kobe the best player in the league during that series. Kobe's numbers away from Staples in that Spurs series was just nasty. The Lakers also demolished the Spurs in these playoffs.

Its funny that year is when guys like Fisher, Horry were making 3s at a high percentage. Role players knocking 3s down = keeping defenses honest = Kobe going 1 on 1 and killing everyone

I agree. It's almost like people take for granted how good he was back then or like you said, just forget. Kobe and Shaq at this time was just an incredible duo to watch. Pure dominance during their 2001 playoff run. It's just crazy when you think about it.

Doug Collins was talking about VC and Iverson and how good they were and now one is out of the league and the other is a shell of himself. all of the players that were compared to Kobe through out his career are not even close to his level all time. It's pretty amazing that Kobe has been in the league for so long and he still is a top player. He may not be the best in the league anymore due to his age and mileage on his body but the fact that he is still being compared to LeBron, Wade, Durant, etc. with all of the years he has played is remarkable.
