There are only a few players in the league that can have the offence run through them and then control the paint of defense. I wont name them all but lets just say there are not to many. He has put up with his coach first not believing in him too right out lying about him to the media; even the best player on the team calling him out and then taking credit for motivating him.

I know for a fact that Andrew takes it as a slap in the face that the team that see him everyday knows how hard he works and privately tells him he will not be traded and will be the face of the team when Kobe is gone, is now trying to play hard ball.

For the Lakers and their fans to believe that Andrew won’t play his contract out and leave as a free agent in two years don’t know his inner strength. They should have realized he was not like everyone else when he scraped him self off the court vs. the Heat a few years ago. Drew doesn’t take disrespect well.

IF HE DOES NOT HAVE A CONTRACT DONE BY THE 31st HE WILL WALK AWAY FROM MONEY AND THE PURPLE AND GOLD IN 2 YEARS.

And I'll post my reply to Andrew's supposed mouthpiece.

There are only a few players in the league that can have the offence run through them and then control the paint of defense. I wont name them all but lets just say there are not to many.

And right now... he's not one of them.

I know for a fact that Andrew takes it as a slap in the face

Sounds like the reaction of a child.

For the Lakers and their fans to believe that Andrew won’t play his contract out and leave as a free agent in two years don’t know his inner strength. They should have realized he was not like everyone else when he scraped him self off the court vs. the Heat a few years ago. Drew doesn’t take disrespect well.

Again... sounds like the reaction of a child.

IF HE DOES NOT HAVE A CONTRACT DONE BY THE 31st HE WILL WALK AWAY FROM MONEY AND THE PURPLE AND GOLD IN 2 YEARS.

This is getting redundant.

Want to give Andrew some advice? Tell him to suck it up and grow up.

If this guy is really Bynum's brother... why would you post this on LG? This only hurts Bynum's reputation.

Bynum didn't get offer $78M from the Lakers. He got offered a similar contract to Bogut's extension.

This is ridiculous. How about he plays first before we give him the max. It's only preseason and playing three games automatically proves his worth?

All I can say is that Bynum has some money hungry people around him.

It's obvious and they're not shy about hiding it either.

His supposed brother is running around the net blasting everyone in the Lakers organization and Bynum's agent seems to have his back.

Ridiculous.

He's right.

LAL is pretending to hold cards they don't hold.

Give the guy his money and move on. We have enough drama already. No need to create drama.

So what, Bynum isn't an AllStar yet. There is NO DOUBT that he WILL be one soon.

He's worth it. Stop playing hardball with a potential franchise player. It's insulting.

That's right. Rewarding players a huge contract based on potential rather than production ALWAYS works out and NEVER screws over the team financially for years. After all, the NBA is filled with nothing but competitive teams possessing amazing financial situations and competent GMs. Not one overpaid bust in league history.

Yeah, he told me he is Bynum's brother. He also said he is Bynum's brother on another Laker forum.

If you look up his posts on other Laker forums... he only post about Bynum and his website.

He did tell us about Bynum's website, his new blogs, him training in Atlanta before anybody else knew any of this info.

I don't know if he's Bynum's brother, but he probably knows Bynum or his agent.

You don't get it. ALL CENTERS IN THE NBA ARE OVERPAID!

Dumpier got 60 million contract.

Bogut got 70 million

Tyson got 60 Million

Foyle got 10 million a year

Curry got 10 million a year

And what do all these guys have in common? Bynum is WAY better than them even if his ceiling is his 15/10/2.5 blks he put up with us last year.

Centers that play defense, have a post game, are worth MAX. End of story. No ifs, ands or buts. This isn't a dime a dozen guard. He's going to get his money. Don't think for a second that this is just 'his agent'.

How HORRIBLE, and HUNGRY are those people around him who want Bynum go get maximum money.

If we don't give him max, New Jersey will happily give him max. Then instead of LA winning championships, we'll see Jay Z, LeBron, and Bynum holding trophies instead.

Extending Bynum is a must. They know he's worth max. The whole league knows he's worth max. Give him max, especially if doctors know his knee is completely healthy.

you could have stopped there.

I think it's all about making a guy prove he is worth something before you give it to him.

I believe Bynum will be a star in this league, but I'd like to see him play 65+ games in a season with good performance in that time before I give him the max.
