I heard this on ESPN 710. John Ireland stated that the Jazz would do this deal minus the 2nd round. FYI I couldn't hear all the details, folks were talking. And I'd take this deal. You get a PF that could grind and a better PG in Harris. How do you say? Oh yea.... Do it Mitch!

This won't happen since it doesn't reduce payroll.

I don't think the Jazz do it, but it does reduce payroll after next season. Which is the most important time to do it because that's when the new luxury tax rates kick in.

Yes you are correct. I got my years mixed up. So yes it does look better after all. I don't know if either team does it, but it depends on the offers of other teams. I have a feeling Mitch will hold an auction and he will be gone to the highest bidder. lol

looks like a solid trade, it allows sessions to play with the bench and milsap is an excellent player.

Theres no way Utah does this, they already have 3 PF/C type bigs who are getting better, they dont need anymore bigs.

Millsap has some value Im guessing they'll trade him for a Small Forward. If anything we should see if they want Ron for him. Outside of Harris and Jamal Tinsley that team has a bounch of young guys with no playoff experience at all. And their SF depth is razor thin

Would like Harris to replace Sessions at starting PG. Sessions has always been a bench player back in Cleveland. I think he's better off the bench

Honestly, I did not hear this on the radio. I just thought to myself that this would be a good trade and wanted other people to see it.

They have no Small Forwards on their roster and no veterans. They had all that talent and got swept this year. Ron is still a starting caliber SF in this League.

Even if this deal doesn't go through I wouldn't mind moving to 2012/2013 season with Ron as our starter.

Ron is a 32 year old one way player

Millsap is a 27 year old all star caliber player

And they were swept by arguably the best team in the NBA

Yeah Devin isn't a bad player, but he's not really "great" either. He's just slightly better than Sessions, IMO.

Artest is money in the playoffs. They dont have any reliable wing options to Defend in the SG/SF position. They used to have Ronnie Brewer, Raja Bell, they have no one, he fits the bill perfectly

They have 3 players that will end up being better than Millsap will ever be. Favors, Kanter and Jefferson have All Star 20/10 potential

maybe Mitch Kupchak should read some of these forums. It would give him some good ideas.
