First of we have to let sessions go, you guys have to remember this is the lakers were talking about here some guys just can't handle the pressure of playing for the lakers (barnes, blake, sessions are good examples)

Aaron Brooks
Jason Terry
George Hill
Goran Dragic
Oj Mayo
Landry Fields
Jamal Crawford
Courtney Lee
Cj Miles
Shannon Brown
Nicolas Batum
Sam Young
Brandon Bass
Kenyon Martin
JJ Hickson
Marreese Speights
Jermaine O'neal

We wont get any of these i think, but if we could get a guy like Goran Dragic for the mini-midlevel, Courtney Lee to back up Kobe or a big to give us front-court depth it would be nice.

thats great though, i feel that Cj is one the biggest sleepers in this free agent class. Plays defense well, 6'6, excellent work ethic and can shoot the three ball well.

I think a lot of the guys on this list that I would want would be too expensive, the other guys would be too old to really help us out......Ideally, we would be able to pull a deal to get a top 5 point gaurd....Rondo would be my first pick, but would be hard to pry away from Boston.....Deron Williams would be my second pick....Deron is a better scorer, but I think Rondo would fit better with Kobe.....If we can get the point gaurd then I would like to bring back Sessions as our back up...I would also like to see resign Jordan Hill, pick up Gerald Green, or a similar athetic wing player, keep Ebanks around, and get Beasly.......So that would give us the ultra athletic bench of.....
Sessions
Green
Ebanks
Beasly
Hill....
All these guys are athletic, can score, and should be an excellent fast break team......That would be my ideal bench...

Agreed with C.J. Miles.... Would be a great addition...

Also Sam Young would be nice and could be realistic as well.

Dragic is the last guy on the list we can hope to get. Houston isn't letting him go at all

George Hill: Would be nice, but Indiana won't let him go. Al they need is time together now.
Goran Dragic: With Lowry wanting out, the Rockets will not let go of their starting PG.
Jamal Crawford: Would be nice, but he's gonna ask (and makes) too much cash for the Lakers to afford.
CJ MIles: Decent pick-up and could be cheap. Unsure of what his contract status is.
Nicholas Batum: Yes. That's a nice, cheaply priced swing man to play the 2 and some spotty 1 here and there.
Brandon Bass; with KG possibly on the outs in Boston and the way he's stepped up, he's going nowhere but back to Boston.
Kenyon Martin: No.
JJ Hickson: Mild bench player, could be alright.

What about JJ Redick?

He makes about 6mil next year but I hear its a non-guaranteed deal and may get waived by the Magic. If he gets waived, I would have no problem if Mitch offered him the mini-MLE. But I doubt he goes that cheap.

He has good range and is a good ball-handler as well. He should be a very good backup SG...

Redick is a one way player. Great shooter, but other than that.... not much there.

He won't come cheap either.

Also Jay, no insults - kidding or not.

if we had two one way players who are only shooters, we would be watching our own games. maybe jj is a one way player but that way is the way that we dont have. and believe, jj is not as bad as you think

Batum is about ready to blow up. He's got nothing but good things ahead of him, just needs the right situation.

I'd love that to be here, but I have no idea what kind of money he's looking for.
