Yes, I know that he is a Celtic, but how would everyone feel about getting KG in free agency? He has played very well this post season.

No thank you. No need for an old team to get even older.
Not to mention he'll still be expensive

highly doubt we get him but if we do it will be for dirt cheap and i doubt he would be wiling to sign with us for that little , plus i don't trust his health so we would need a back up just as good as him if not better

I'd say KG is a perfect fit, if he could be had for something not involving Kobe, Pau or Bynum (like a mini-midlevel, or Vets-minimum).
Then we could turn either Bynum or Gasol into another piece, and we'd be good to go.

Like Bynum for Deron, or Pau for Iggy or ??

KG would be a perfect fit for the lakers but he would have to come to LA willingly and on the cheap.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

If Bynum and Gasol are traded for Dwight then I'm all in for it.

My concern would be KG holding up for 82 games and the playoffs. We could rest KG some nights like Pop does with Tim Duncan to preserve his body.

And the other thing that bothers me is the Celtic green he wears. After the 2008 Finals, James Posey opted out of his contract and some Laker fans were talking about picking him up. I couldn't warm up to that idea, and I can't warm up to this one. But if we have no other options then I say do it.
