He is arguably the best player right now. His team is struggling and they may face an early playoff exit. If somehow he is available in the offseason, should the Lakers blow it up and trade for him? I'd trade Bynum and fillers (Sessions, Ebanks) and even Pau Gasol if they ask for him. Can you imagine a lineup featuring Kobe Bryant and LeBron James?

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

I don't understand why anybody would want a proven choke artist to build a team around. You get that guy if you need to sell tickets, not win championships. And last time I checked, we never have problems selling tickets.

   Bron and D12 just said on espn they want to go to the Lakers next season!
Their agents said its possible but contingent on the following requests:
1. they are both the #1 options on offense.
2. they both receive max salary
3. Kobe must give a press conference stating hes happy to have them and be the 2nd option behind the two great stars that are the first options
4. LA must throw a welcome party like Miami did to properly receive the greatest Forward and Center ever to play the game.
5. Kobes new jersey number will be 0.125 because hes 1/8 the star Bron is.
6. D12 will be known as D8 and Bron must have #24 because of personal history and what the # means to him.
7. Coach Brown must go because he contrasts to what Bron is trying to accomplish in LA. Bron will act as head coach until a suitable replacement can be found.
8. Steve Vangundy must be fired from Orlando as part of the trade package for Bynum/Gasol.
9. Dwight needs his own private locker room constructed for each game . Including but not limited to home and road games.
10. D8 and Bron24 are not required to practice. The light work must practice with their team assistant Kobe0.125 who will catch them up to speed when they are done clubbing and giving espn specials about their decisions.

Check the stats, by far the best player in the game today. Just cause he has played on a team where he was literally the only option (Cleveland) and one with a washed up superstar and a never was (Miami) doesn't change the stats. The guy is super efficient, unlike any player before him, and getting better. Hate all you want.

stats dont show footwork, post moves, mid range and the ability to rip the heart out of teams like Kobe has.
yes his fg% is higher than kobes, he gets to the line more, hes bigger and faster now and usually gets fouled when he drives BUT Kobe was a better defender and a better scorer in his prime.

And for [expletive]s sakes mj was a killer, cold bloded, just like Kobe, alpha males, Bron is awesome for 47 minutes of a game and crawls into a [expletive]ing ball. Thats the guy closer to Michael than Kobe? GTFO

No one fears Lebron as much as they did Michael and Kobe. This doesnt come up on the stat sheets.
only Kobe can stop Kobe.

It's sad that people are already forgetting how damn good Kobe is/was.
