That was just an AWFUL possession. And that single possession has pretty much sealed the deal. We're finished.

id rather trade bynum for Rondo and then some than for Derro n i just see rondo fiting us better
Lol boston isn't trading rondo anymore. You don't trade a 15 and 15 player who controls tempo better than any player not named Chris paul

Lakers wouldn't trade him just for Derron Williams... but the Nets are still trying to get DH so doubt if anything happens there. As real deal has said. You only trade Bynum for a superstar. Unless Brooklyn comes knocking with deron Williams you don't trade Bynum.
You trade pau and bring in 2-3 effective/athletic players to surround them

lmao. makes no [expletive]ing sense.Poor logic
That's like saying a team had a lead despite the qb Incompleting most of his passes and then he throws the game ending interception but it's still not his fault because they had the lead anyways

It's a wide open shot too. That's what most disappointing about that sequence. Pau was WIDE OPEN. He was shooting that same stupid jumper all game long. He had no one around him, zero pressure. If he doesn't want to take the shot from there, he had enough space to at least make a move inside. Hell, hold it and wait for someone to flash or get open! Anything but the pass would have worked in that situation.
That was just an AWFUL possession. And that single possession has pretty much sealed the deal. We're finished.
If he would have taken the shot and missed there would have been no blame from me outside of his poor play.
But to not only shy away from the shot but to turn it over
Inexcusable

who's defending him?
he ayed terribly. we all saw it.
in spite of that we had a huge lead. we got away from what got us a lead like game 2.
I'm seeing posts all over this thread trying to downplay the significance of Pau's complete [expletive] up. Kobe absolutely choked tonight, but at least he made the right play in the final seconds. Gasoft had nothing redeeming the entire game.

"Impossible is just a big word used by small men who find it easier to live the world they've been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact, It's an opinion. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing."
Impossible is "Basketball Reasons"

Makes perfect sense. That's the logic your using. So your saying your logic is faulty. Which is my point

No, he can't pass when he has a wide open lane and assume he's making a great play.
And apparently Gasol even whispered to Kobe he'd be open so Kobe would pass it to him.. Kobe did...and then Gasol did what he did..
YOU DON'T TELL KOBE YOU'LL BE OPEN AND THEN WHEN HE PASSES IT TO YOU TO MAKE THE PERFECT PLAY decide at the last moment that you don't wanna score. Gasol had triangle mentality that "Alright I'll get it to Ron, he'll get it to Blake, perfect triangle, wide open three. Rather than "oh wide open lane..whats common sense say!!?!?"
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.
You should reach more often
