Bynum and Gasol are the key to winning this series. They have the size advantage over most teams, they need to play an inside and out game. They need to be active and aggressive. If they can dominate the inside, they can be hard to beat. And the bench needs to be very effective. The Lakers bench needs to outscore the Thunder bench.

We must win Game 1. This is perhaps the most important game of the season, we need to set the tone for the rest of the series. If we win tonight, we will put a lot of pressure on these youngsters. I'd hate to lose both games by a minimal margin as Dallas dropped both games at OKC by a combined difference of two points. Our bench has to produce (maybe give Murphy a try), our perimeter shooting should be at least average and then our stars should shine on both ends. Difficult task, but not impossible. We've played better teams in the past.

I can see us jumping on them and stealing game one. Okc adjusts and we lose series.

Or they win game one. We adjust catch them sleeping and pull off the upset.

If this goes passed game five, that's a good thing.

The Lakers stealing game 1 or 2 would only assure us of OKC winning a game in LA, and bringing a 2-2 series to OKC for game 5. The split gives us a shot at a long series. Dropping two straight in OKC puts our chances of winning the series at 5%. Taking one of these games means we are going on a long ride.

If we can win this game I think we have a great chance but even if we lose it isnt the end. Maybe being the underdog might prove to help the lakers. I mean if we can manage to win this series then this teams momentum will sky rocket.
