Hope OKC is rusty and the bigs take on more responsibility because Kobe is going to need all the help he can get since he will be guarding Westbrook. That will drain his energy big time and I'm hoping that he will a little in the tank to close out 4th quarters.

I'm also looking forward to seeing the Ron/ Durant match up. I hope he doesn't pick up quick fouls. Harden is going to be a problem and its not just his ability to knock down shots. He gets to the line A LOT. Have to limit the fouls but they may be hard in OKC.

OKC is not unbeatable. They showed that in the 1st Round.
Ron can guard KD very well and Kobe should be able to slow down Westbrook if he focuses on defense for most of the time. But the key to win against the Thunder is stopping Harden and Ibaka. If they step up, it will be very tough for us to win.

Plus, we must run the offense through Bynum and Pau more often, especially in the first three quarters, and hope Blake and Barnes make open shots. If Blake played like he did in game seven, we would be good.

I was looking at the stats from previous games when the Lakers played the Thunder and believe it or not but Harden and Ibaka were the two players that play efficiently against the Lakers and they usually destroyed them. Westbrook and Durant usually shoot a poor percentage against LA. Now I'm not saying that Westbrook and KD will never go off but the Lakers do a pretty good job on both of them. Ibaka and Harden cannot just be looked as other players because if they are, then they will go off on the Lakers.

Another thing I realized is that Kobe, Pau, and Drew haven't really had great games against OKC neither. They have to play more efficiently for the Lakers to even have a chance.

Bynum and Gasol are the key to winning this series. They have the size advantage over most teams, they need to play an inside and out game. They need to be active and aggressive. If they can dominate the inside, they can be hard to beat. And the bench needs to be very effective. The Lakers bench needs to outscore the Thunder bench.
