Lakers in 7 getting an epic road win due to greater experience to advance

OKC is experienced now...

2010 tough 1st round match up with THE LA LAKERS (remeber they took us to 6 and durant missed the buzzer beater - Harden was not around back then)..

2011 got to WCF and got their asses handed to them by a more experienced Dallas team but they learned alot from that series as a young team

No I dont believe experience matters here. This series is all about if LA can hit their open 3's which they havent done at ALL this season. They need to be clicking on all cylinders and their inside outside game has to be mastered to perfection.

Add the fact that games 3 and 4 are back to back that does not help this team AT ALL.

OKC in 5 (just being realistic sorry - will gladly eat crow if we win lol. )

The only way I could see Lakers win this series is by 6 games.

Another thing, there are two key things have to do in order to win the series:

1. They HAVE to win either Game 1 or Game 2. They can't afford to go back to LA down 2-0. The B2B home games doesn't help them either so they have to win Game 1 or Game 2.
2. It's gonna be hard but they have to defend home court. I can't really see them winning 2 games at OKC. If they can defend HC AND steal 1 game at OKC they will be fine.

Personally, I just want a competitive series. I'm a die hard Lakers fans but I'm also a objective Lakers fans. I could honestly say that the Thunder have a better all round team period. But, as long as the Lakers show heart, pride, effort, and passion I would be more than happy. I don't want to the Lakers to laid an egg like last year and Games 5 and Games 6 against Denver. If the Lakers are gonna go down, then I rather have them go down fighting very hard than showing no heart or effort.

Lets see here.. Lakers just played a 7 game series against a team they should've beat in 5 so they will be tired. NBA is against them by having them play back to back games. OKC is ranked 1 and lakers ranked 3rd. OKC have a week of rest and lakers might be tired especially with the old legs. Bynum might not be interested in a couple of games and Gasol might be soft in a couple of games. Kobe is getting old and cant carry the team by himself anymore. And OKC bench tends to be better than Lakers bench.everything is against us. Nobody besides some lakers fans picked us to win this series. So from all that, i come to a conclusion that there is no doubt that Lakers will win this series.

I think Ron can contain Durant just like in 2010 (Durants shootin 35% in the playoffs by the way) and Westbrook and Harden did a lot of heavy lifting late in the games. We need an answer for those guys

I hope and wish that more Lakers fans predict lakers to lose. Obviously Lakers are the underdog. This is what makes the next round so awesome for me. I picked Lakers in 6 because I believe in them. Not saying if you pick against the lakers, you are not real fans. But by doing that, it shows that you are a fan that doesn't believe. I understand and I can;t blame you for that. The way they play against denver makes a believer a non believer easily. But as a fan, i am miopic and i ALWAYS believe in my team doesnt matter the odds. Don't be butthurt when you hear that because its true. Dont mistake the not being a real fan from not believing in your team. You are real fans but not a believer. I just hope more lakers fans pick OKC cus its easy to pick the obvious. And i hope nobody pick the lakers so i can come on here when the Lakers win and tell all you non believers to eat crow.

and if Lakers lose the series, I will eat crow

I believed Lakers would beat boston in 2008... They lost. Believing is just that believing, its an opinion of what you THINK WILL happen, its a prediction. The matter of fact that you brought up "beign a real fan or not" you just sounded confused in your own post. Its an opinion and everyone has theirs. So dont bring that [expletive] up.

This is a tough one. I see Thunder in 6.

BUT.....

If the Lakers can steal game 1 or 2, this series will belong to the Lakers.

My pick all season for the Finals has been OKC v Miami but I'd love for the Lakers to make me look like a fool. One game at a time. This is the playoffs.
