If your going to shoot 32 shots and ignore Bynum and let him have only 8 shot attempts, you better not show your face in public, because if you would have given Drew the damn ball half of those shots we would have won. Bynum is a beast when you include him, just like Shaq. You've never heard the term "make your bigs happy"? Well Kobe didn't just not make him happy, he made him pissed.
The Nuggets aren't letting Bynum get the position he wants, and he isn't even forcing the issue inside. He's allowing himself to be pushed further away from the low post than he needs to be. As a result, we can't get the ball to him in a position from which he can score. Bynum is no Shaq, he will never be anywhere near as dominant a force.
As for "making the bigs happy"? That should come if they secure good position and actually work their asses off on both ends. Numerous times in the game the paint had both our big men available, but for some reason neither felt any urgency to rotate towards a player attacking the rim. I guess Timofey Mozgov is Dwight Howard lite or something, we simply can't rotate off of him. What would make the team happy is if Bynum didn't allow McGee to morph into some center wunderkind like he did in the two Nugget victories.
