I personally think his new material is awesome. Love Lockdown, Heartless, and Coldest Winter are all great.

Kanye's not a rapper, Kanye's an artist. Let the man do what he wants. The reaction of some people to this new material reminds me of when Dylan went electric.

Couldn't disagree more. This is what makes Kanye unique. I can't stand most mainstream rap/hip hop, but this is why I like Kanye. He's mad original.

Kanye wasn't the first to do something like this. Not sure how it makes him original.

I agree with you, he got down on Put On. So far his new album sounds iffy.

Never said THIS makes him original. I said it's things like this, aka his versatility, that make him unique/original. He has a lot of different sounds.

I love all of his new tracks so far.
Seems like each one of Kanye's albums is better than the last.
I don't care what people say... Heartless, Coldest Winter, and Love Lockdown are all certified #1 on the billboard hits. This man just keeps 'em coming. Amazing, really...

I'm thinking 808 and Heartbreaks is kanye's album to show off his different style which has a much darker feel to it...and when the June album comes around he'll go back to his normal stuff...but that coldest winter song is dope

I agree. I think this album is entirely an artistic reaction to him breaking up with his long-time girlfriend.

KAYNE isn't particularly original, howeve he is a RISK taker, and thats becoming harder and harder to find these days. Also as much as I hate his attitude, arrogance and his self-entitlement, he's a great producer, and a staple in the music industry
