"Love me or hate me it's one or the other. Always has been. Hate my game, hate my swagger, hate my fade-away, my hunger, hate that i'm a veteran, A champion, hate that. Hate it with all your heart, and hate that i'm loved for the exact same reasons."

Steve Blake... you are 6 foot 3. You are a guard. Regardless of who else is on the floor, you are a guard. If a short guy in Gold drives to the basket, turn and [expletive]ing run! If any other shot goes up, turn and run. If the ball is turned over, turn and run. It should be fairly easy for you to remember your sole goddamn responsibility, which is to turn and [expletive]ing run. In fact, Brown should just fine Blake $5000 every time he steps inside the 3-point line on the offensive end. There is no reason for Blake to ever be inside the line, and that would give him a head start he desperately needs to get back.
Everyone not named Blake, Sessions, or Bryant. You are not a guard. If you aren't chasing Blake down court, find someone in a jersey that doesn't look like yours, and stick your ass into him. Every [expletive]ing time a shot goes up. This is called "boxing out". It's taught to grade school kids all over the world, but somehow none of you have heard of it. This is opposite of your current 'technique' which constitutes standing around and hoping the ball bounces into your lap. That is not rebounding, that is luck.
Everyone not named Bynum, Gasol, or Bryant. You are not going to get double-teamed. Your job is to not be a useless idiot. Useless idiots stand around and watch the play while a double-team traps their teammate. Do almost anything else! A really good choice would be to cut to the [expletive]ing basket! Other cuts are not a terrible option, but running straight down the goddamn lane should be something you can remember how to do.
It's unfathomable that these guys, except Eyenga, have been playing basketball for more than a few weeks each. I cannot take it anymore.

Now we just need to make sure we get at least 1 out of 2 in Denver. Our bench needs to step up... 8 points to like 36 for the nugs? Not gonna get it done on the road. But good job by our guys to hold home court.
Unlike some teams, it's not really essential for the Lakers' bench to score much. They can play very good games without many buckets. It's hard enough to find sufficient shots for the starters.
That said, they also can't afford many abysmal games like Blake's tonight. I'm not one of those guys who thinks he's useless, but he played just about as bad a game as a live human can play in Game 2. Barnes was only slightly better on account of his four assists.
