Imagine Kobe got the kind of love and benefit of the doubt from the zebras like Durant or LeBron.

Man does it suck that Lebron has such an easy road to the finals - New York Knicks, Indiana Pacers and then the geriatric Boston Celtics. Power shift to the East my ass.

Kobe vs. Denver
GM1: 11 FTA
GM2: 7 FTA

LeBron vs. New York
GM1: 14 FTA
GM2: 7 FTA
GM3: 13 FTA

Doesn't seem like LeBron is getting to the line that much more than Kobe.

In fact, the last time the Lakers played Denver...

Kobe vs. Denver, 2009 Playoffs
GM1: 13 FTA
GM2: 10 FTA
GM3: 17 FTA
GM4: 13 FTA
GM5: 10 FTA
GM6: 9 FTA

LeBron is the best in the NBA for a reason, and the Heat are as good as they are because they have two players that are basically unstoppable with a single defender guarding them, plus another all-star that can take out most PF's in the league as well.

The Knicks could get extra love from the referees in this series, and the Heat would still take them out in five games or less. Right now, Miami is cruising. If LeBron and Wade wanted to, they would blast the Knicks out of the water and make them look even worse each game.

Miami will get to the finals without losing a game I think... Seriously. Might lose game 3 @ Boston but that's it.

The Miami/Boston series seems inevitable at this point, and it will be interesting, because very few people realize just how excellent of a defender Avery Bradley has become. I could make an argument that he's a top three perimeter defender in the NBA (among guards), right up there with Tony Allen and Rajon Rondo.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Boston take two games, but it all depends on what's going on with Ray Allen's ankle. Boston needs him if they want to scare Miami.

Will the Knicks ever win another playoffs game? This team is embarrassing to watch year in year out. Last year they were swept by a mediocre Celtics team.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

You could make an argument that Bradley is the best on ball defender in the league. He is super underrated by people. But I agree. Depending on how healthy Ray is, will determine just how far Boston can go.

Melo' has the worst winning % of any player in NBA history to have played in 50 playoff games. 16-36.

This "series" is embarassing. I have lost all my respect for Amare, Melo and the Knicks. I thought they would have at least showed up. Melo is a great one-on-one player, a playground star, but if I wanted my team to win some games, I'd never pick him.

And the Eastern Conference is so weak only Boston can slow down Miami, though I do not see them winning 4 games against them. The Celtics will need all their defense, a "triple-double" Rondo and a healthy "2010 Finals Game 2" Ray Allen.

You see this little hole? This moth's just about to emerge. It's in there right now, struggling. It's digging it's way through the thick hide of the cocoon. Now, I could help it - take my knife, gently widen the opening, and the moth would be free - but it would be too weak to survive. Struggle is nature's way of strengthening it." - John Locke
