7.30 PM PST on TNT. Phoenix at Utah. Winner gets the 8th seed and goes to the playoffs. I hope Utah wins, they're a little bit like Memphis have size and skilled bigs inside who can bother 1st seed Spurs a lot. Phoenix looks like its running on fumes. Utah's only problem is lack of reliable SG/SF swing players outside of Gordon Hayward, I think CJ Miles, Raja Bell and Josh Howard are hurt. Earl Watson is hurt too but I think he can return next week if they make the playoffs

I think Utah is going to win. They are a more balanced team, I mean the Suns rely solely on great performances from Nash or Gortat or... Shannon Brown. That's also why I think the Jazz could at least do something against SA in the first round.
That being said, Nash could still make Phoenix win the game tonight and take his team to the playoffs.

They already own the tiebreaker over the Jazz (2-0) so if they lose to the Spurs and Utah loses to the Blazers, they're going to make it.

I see what you're saying MDI I just hope whoever wins the spurs will take care of easier and sweep them and then in the second round all of a sudden they'll be surprised against the clippers who hopefully can beat them.

Everyone is going nuts in Utah right now. It's like they're game 7 of the NBA Finals. Going to be the loudest stadium of the year tonight probably...

Go Suns. :coffee:

Incorrect. If PHX wins they will still probably have to beat the spurs on WED.

Utah or Phoenix - both are a walk for the Spurs in the first round.

No no no MDI. I get your point. You think Utah can give some more problems to San Antonio and you gave your reasons, but the bottomline is neither is gonna' beat them so as a fan, why not root for the way more exciting team to watch? Utah is among one of the most boring teams in the league by far and Phoenix in contrast, still runs every now & then and is just way funner to watch. Why does anyone wanna' see Utah play c'mon now.

yo.
