Wouldn't surprise me if Abreu keeps it up and turns out being a pretty decent pick-up by this team. I've read several articles about him and his last days/situation with the Angels and he definitely is motivated and feels like he still has something to prove.
I think he'll be just fine with the Dodgers. He's still a quality hitter that can hit around the .270-.280 clip give or take. What makes him such a good hitter is he does not get cheated at the plate and works the pitcher. You'll see Abreu get into a lot of 2-2 / 3-2 counts. Plus it gives us another left handed bat to give us more balance. He was brought in to be a bench bat and sometimes starter but I will not be shocked if he becomes our everyday LF for the rest of the season.

Have we lost a series to anyone this year?
We've lost 4 series so far this season. Milwaukee, Colorado, and Chicago on the road. Atlanta was the only team we lost to at home.

Ethier and Loney picked it up with Kemp struggling a little bit
Glad we signed Aaron Miles to a minor league contract, I liked him

Give me a power hitting 3B or 1B, plus another arm in the bullpen and this team will be legit.

Kemp has slowed down dramatically. Hamilton is on a seemingly historic tear lately. Just flat out unreal.Matt Kemp vs Josh Hamilton...

Adam Kennedy is surprisingly coming through. Bobby Abreu has been a bigger surprise. Loney has picked up the slack in Kemp's absense a little bit.
This team is so much fun to watch now. We just need one more bat

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- A man who apparently caused a minor car collision in the Dodger Stadium parking lot Sunday night was pulled out of his car and assaulted, police said.
Police said the assault took place after the game sometime before 9 p.m. The man was pulled from his car by at least one suspect and suffered head and facial injuries, none of which were life threatening, police said.
The victim was taken to Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center for treatment. A woman who was eight months pregnant was with the victim. She was taken to the hospital for precautionary reasons.
Four people were detained for questioning, police said. However, it was unclear if any of them were facing charges.
