Regardless if they make it or not, I am looking forward to many great seasons in the coming years. This roster is already showing what it can do offensively and its scary good considering you'll add Crawford to the mix next season.

Nice win, but Cardinals will clinch the wild card tomorrow. Even though they're a rival, the Reds have nothing to play for.
That's false.
The Reds are playing for home field advantage through the playoffs.
The Reds are 96-64, tied with the Nationals for the best record in the National League with two games to go, and must finish ahead of Washington to get home-field advantage throughout the postseason after losing the season series.
Regardless if the Reds are playing for something or not, STL is playing great ball right now and are tough to beat. I'd feel more comfortable if it were in Cincinnati.
It was a long shot to begin with but I've seen weirder things in baseball happen.

The Reds were popping champagne for God's sake when they clinched a playoff spot. With the Angels out, I hope I'm wrong, though.

They popped champagne when they clinched a playoff spot because they clinched the division as well.

When i used to play it was automatic homeruns on lefties that lob the ball like that...i know he's got a good 12-6 curveball but how many times are they going to miss that slow fastball???
