If Dodgers end up tied with the Cardinals, they will play a one game playoff in LA Thursday night, with the wild card game being played Saturday in ATL

Dodgers have Harang going against Cain tomorrow. Even if we were just depending on Cardinals losing 2/3 to the Reds, that would be hard enough, but I just can't see us sweeping the Giants. Nice to see the offense and Kemp turning a corner, but it would have been better if they did it 2 weeks earlier.

Regardless if they make it or not, I am looking forward to many great seasons in the coming years. This roster is already showing what it can do offensively and its scary good considering you'll add Crawford to the mix next season.

Too bad Gonzo got hot too late, but still encouraging nonetheless that he's finishing strong.

The Reds are playing for home field advantage through the playoffs.

The Reds are 96-64, tied with the Nationals for the best record in the National League with two games to go, and must finish ahead of Washington to get home-field advantage throughout the postseason after losing the season series.

Regardless if the Reds are playing for something or not, STL is playing great ball right now and are tough to beat. I'd feel more comfortable if it were in Cincinnati.

The Reds were popping champagne for God's sake when they clinched a playoff spot. With the Angels out, I hope I'm wrong, though.

When i used to play it was automatic homeruns on lefties that lob the ball like that...i know he's got a good 12-6 curveball but how many times are they going to miss that slow fastball???
