Really? Over T2,Aliens, and even True Lies? Both Avatar and Titanic are highly overrated
Yeah. I've liked those 2 better than the ones you listed.

I saw it last night.
There were times when the 3D made everything seem like it was really there.
But its not cheesy 3D effects like a horror movie where the knife comes out at you to startle you.
Its more about depth.
When you look at the movie screen it feels like your looking through a window at real life behind it.
The most awesome part was when Leo and Kate are on top of the back of the ship when its floating like a cork, as the ship plunges deeper into the water, the way he made the ocean look was violent. Like it was alive and eating the ship. I cant describe how it looked. It was just awesome. So real.
And When Kate is hanging off the back of the ship thinking about suicide the depth perception shows how far up she is from the surface. Its freakin high.
The 3D was the best and most high budget I have ever seen without a doubt.
But did that make the movie better?
At times yes it did. I really enjoyed it.
Titanic is the best movie ever to me. I've always loved it. And sometimes during the movie the 3D depth made the scenes so much more real, so much more honest that it intensified the emotions that I always had. Its almost like the 3D was a exclamation point on greatness.
