Eddie Jones was a 3rd year proven player and our 2nd option on offense when Kobe entered the league as a rookie bro. Hell, if it was Phil Jackson, Kobe wouldn't have gotten ANY playing time.

thank you, Atleast someone agrees with me.

The reason kobe didnt get much playing time in his first years because of eddie jones and kobes cockiness.

Look at the times del harris did give him a chance. What would kobe do? Shoot and airball. You guys see that one game where he airballed 3 times in a row.

Honestly eddie jones was a beast and he was a proven player. One of my favorite lakers ever.

"Kobe kept the guys focused in the huddle (during timeouts), too," Brown said. "That was kind of fun to sit back and watch Kobe talk to those guys and keep those guys' heads in the right spots in the course of the game, especially late."

Who was the coach back in 1969 that REFUSED to play Wilt Chamberlain back in the ga,e in game 7 against the Celtics in Russell's final year cause he didn't like him? THAT guy should be high on the list.

yeah THAT GUY!!!

THAT guy should go down in history, he intentionally didn't play Chamberlain cause he didn't like him and we lost to the Celtics by 2 in game 7 and he cost us the win in that one!! That has to be one of the all time WORST coaching moves of all time

Hopefully during the off season they will get it together and have a better feel for the players and what they can do.... Shannon brown was struggling to get used to not playing the triangle offense....

You know, that may be a good thing too. The more comfortable he gets working with Mike Brown in that way the less apprehensive he may be about sitting out when he needs rest :glasses:
