After participating fully in Wednesday’s open practice at STAPLES Center, Luke Walton told me he’s feeling “great,” and is hoping to participate in L.A.’s two games this weekend.

Just as he’s gaining strength in his ankle, Walton said he’s starting to feel comfortable and confident as he searches for his rhythm on the floor.

I know it's a long shot but if it really was just the injury that hurt Luke last year and he can go back to the way he was playing in 07, that would be incredibly helpful. (The Luke of 07 could start for us IMO)

I would feel even greater if he is traded...

why is there so much hate going around lol. if he could come back to his original self he could be a real valuable asset to this team. Even though we are stacked at the 3. He brings basketball IQ to the team and he knows the offense. He could be an important factor this year if he truly is healthy.

Seriously, why do people hate Walton so much for having ONE bad season due to injuries?

2 seasons ago, he was one of our major contributors and he made a young Laker team stick together with his good passing and decent scoring ability. He's not that bad.
