UCLA right now has Kyle Anderson committed. Will UCLA be the favorites if they do land Muhammad & Tony Parker ?

Ucla needs to land some top recruits and not just one.
"The way Steve is as a teammate, the way he sets the tone, the way the team kind of takes on his persona. As a coach, that's the best thing in the world. It's easy to coach. He's taking care of the chemistry. You just coach."

That's what I'm saying if they do land Shabazz with Kyle Anderson who to ESPN is ranked 4th overall in the country and Shabazz is ranked 2nd overall. And Tony Parker just outside the top 20.

I haven't been following the recruiting process. What does it look like? What kind of chance does Ucla have of gettting those guys.

I know that Shabazz has narrowed it down to 3 schools, and UCLA is one, along with Duke and Kentucky I believe.

I'd be close to shocked if they all end up going there, mainly cause of the Coach. Howland needs to [expletive]in' go, sorry!

I think so too.

UCLA is in a good spot as well because of proximity to home (lives in Vegas), but Coach Cal is a master at bringing these top recruits in. Especially with Davis, Jones, Teague all but gone to the NBA after tonights title game, Coach Cal will be all over Shabazz to keep the Kentucky powerhouse going.

The calipari lineage

Rose
Tyreke
Knight
Cousins
Davis
Teague
Gilchrist

And that's just the last like 4 years

Also he's about to win the national championship. Shabazz would only choose ucla if like WC said he really wants to stay by home. Otherwise you will compete for a national championship at Kentucky. Ucla is still an unknown.

Word during the All American game was he was leaning towards UCLA and was even wearing Adidas shoes during the game.

I expected him to sign with UCLA from the start because he has family in the LA area and his dad played for USC in the 80's. UCLA IS BACK!
