I watched this episode and thought that this was after the trade to Dallas but it was actually before it

He did that during the lockout.

Why is this [expletive] in the Lakers section? I don't care about this Maverick.

Arguably the greatest franchise ever

Isn't it a tribute to his son who died?

Ok so I do get down time in my office so I decided to check this out.

During the lockout he talks about how he misses the game of basketball.
He pulls out a Lakers warm up long sleeve and starts to feel sad.
He then talks about it:
"I see my Laker jersey and get a little emotional cause i'm just thinking about my teammates."

Man he had NO IDEA what was about to happen poor guy lol
only Kobe can stop Kobe.

I simply don't understand why someone hasn't come out and said it yet...

Lamar Odom has exhibited all of the classical signs and symptoms of major depression. He needs to be medicated to prevent harm to himself. He self medicates (weed and other things like candy), grieves excessively, has motivational issues and has bouts of mania and corresponding depression. I don't think he's full blown bi-polar like Artest but there is ample evidence that he NEEDS some type of pharmaceutical intervention or supplement in addition to regular therapy.

I've had plenty of grief in my life so I sympathize with his traumatic past. The average person has lots of things that COULD beat you down but when you routinely fold under that type of pressure, you need to consider pathology, especially when it affects your professional life as much as it clearly has affected Lamar's.

Get. Help. Now. And I mean professional medical help...and no, medical marijuana does NOT count.

It may make for great reality TV because people always want to see rich people do stupid things but the people who really care about him need to start thinking about what's best for him and not what he wants to hear.

He needs to see someone ASAP...he needed to see someone 4 years ago...or better yet, 14 years ago. This won't go away...and it is RARELY cured...especially if the people around him aren't honest with him...

LO has been in LA for many years now...I am not basing this statement on this post...there has been so many red flags flown high (pun intended) all the way back to his Clippers days. People ignored it because of his natural talent...we now know that was the wrong course of action...hindsight is 20/20. I hope for his sake someone gets him (or convinces him to get) the help he needs.
