McRoberts is like Barnes, a slasher/hustle player that wants ally-ops all game.
Now that we have Sessions, McRoberts should be some burn.
McRoberts/Bynum
Murphy/Gasol
Those are good pairings... Murphy spaces for Bynum
Mcroberts will cut to the basket for Pau to hit him.
Bynum/Gasol is still the reigning best duo..
i do think Jordan Hill could be better then either of McRoberts or Murphy
Hill has the ability to rebound the ball. When Bynum is off the floor, the lakers are not a good rebounding team. I want to see Hill in the game at center. We need another tough low post player besides Bynum.
I say Hill should be the first big off the bench... EVEN if for a couple games, just to see what he has got.
We did give up Fisher and a 1st rounder for him...

Lol. I used the same reference when a casual laker fan friend of mine asked me about Jordan Hill. I was like "he's a black McRoberts with more hops.."

McRoberts has been picking it up pretty well lately, in particular playing great defense on Aldridge. Hill won't see time unless someone completely falls off the radar or it's the end of a blowout game either way. Hill isn't a bad player, he's serviceable, but better than McRoberts right now - nope.

Defense can be debatable, Hill MIGHT be better, but there's one to two aspects where Hill is without a doubt unquestionably better and that is making an outside shot and having more post moves. McRoberts can't even touch him on those whatsoever.Hill isn't a bad player, he's serviceable, but better than McRoberts right now - nope.

McScrub hasn't done anything productive. Blows layups, dunks, NO POST MOVE, gets most of his shots from oops or easy passes. He has yet to have double digits in rebounds or points this season. Only plus for him are his hops.Obviously better than McRoberts? Wait McRoberts can't rebound or play defense? So you haven't watched him the last couple of games then I take it. You got your assessment of Hill vs. Roberts off of 2 minutes in garbage time against Dallas? O.K....

Hill is a much tougher guy, he can post score, and a better defender. Had some good games as a Rocket prior to being traded. Better than McScrub - YES
