Gerry, your posts have been most interesting. I would not hesitate to encourage more posts. We have recently seen a surge of posts with a history theme thanks to the contribution from some of the newer posters. This generates yet more responses and keeps this forum alive. I think it is a given that after 60 years most posts can be prefaced by IIRC (If I remember correctly) - and indeed, this is a discussion forum so I am sure that responses may add to the story and maybe add to the local history.
