Hes a restricted Free agent. Minnesota will likely sign and trade him since they got Derrick Williams who does what Beasley does

I hate the wait approach, but you might be right.

Waiting... man's worst enemy.

I have a feeling Lakers aren't done with Beasley. I expect them to try and use their trade exception during the off season or around the draft.

well we have no 1st round picks this draft haha. Id say the Beasley pursuit is pretty much over, he has some value in this league and Minny will probably use him to get some players/assets back

Signin arenas would not ruin or hurt our team. It will give us a boost on the bench scoring. We need to sign him for a year. We have NOTHING to lose. Maybe sign posey As well.

Pincus said our TPE is better to use in off season, less tax penalties I think...

Don't think we would sign another PG after we dealt Fisher.. Guess he could play the 2, but goudelock is progressing

Just a thought, but do you think maybe talks between Lakers, Wolves, and Blazers start back up during the off season? Blazers couldn't find a home for Crawford and Wolves will be looking to trade Beasley.

It depends. Crawford has a player option and if he excercises it, I think Portland will try and move him.

The Lakers will go hard after Beasley I think because I really do believe the Lakers will amnesty Metta. They already got rid of Luke's contract and shed some salary with Fisher's as well. Metta is the next bad contract to go and the Lakers could find a great replacement in Beasley as they continue to move into the future.

I'd really hate to see Metta gone.

If the Lakers plan to amnesty him, I'm sure he'll retire before they actually do it. I'm still all for Beasley, he'll be an amazing pickup even in the summer.

It would be stupid to waive Metta.

If they amnestied Kobe, could they restructure his contract?

I know it won't happen, but wanna know.

I asked Pincus about Beasley...He said "doubt it but in theory possible"

Well that would never happen. <_<

If we traded Blake, I could see us signing Gilbert...but not now.

Well the Lakers can't honestly expect to roll through the playoffs with an open roster spot. So they have to sign somebody right? I'd take any competent SF/PF
