Portland's talks with Minnesota for Jamal Crawford are part of a 3-way scenario with Lakers, source says. Michael Beasley would go to LA.

We shall see, but good to hear something from a solid source - even if it pans out as only negotiations.

Beasly himself is not gonna solve Lakers' point guard problems.

Doesn't make sense - three way trade, so what would we be giving up?

Man, If we could have Beasley take all of MWP's minuets - Would be filling such a weakness.

No [expletive] Sherlock. We are still looking for a point guard. Beasly would take care of our horrible bench. He is a 23 year old odom with a few screws loose.

Don't be a party pooper, yes that is true, but c'mon, you gotta' be thrilled, we would still be filling another desperate need.

My guess is Blake would be involved on the deal, and we get a PG from Portland?? Felton? Who knows

But this isn't part of this report. There's been no extremely recent report such as this one indicating we are still going after Sessions as well right? This is just you and your hope?

Steve Blake -> Portland
Jamal Crawford -> T'Wolves
Michael Beasley -> Lakers

and we're gonna get Sessions. That's the plan.

Personally I like Blake, but if we have to lose him, I would gladly take Ramon Sessions...

Adding Beasley, Sessions and not losing Gasol really helps our depth. Still not a great shooting team, but its a start to something better.

IF we are still going to pursue a PG as well outside of Beasley, I'd MUCH rather prefer Sessions over Felton. No question. While Felton has had the better NBA career so far arguably imo, I strongly take into account the year they're both having this season and if you put it that way, Sessions blows Felton away quite easily. Felton just looks horrid this year. Plus, Sessions is 2 years younger as well for what it's worth and two inches taller at 6'3.

And here's another 3 way deal the lakers are apparently working on:

I don't like giving Steve Blake away, but if we get sessions, I'm up for it. BTW any other news on Pau.
