So unfair. Carolina didn't have Marshall. He was a HUGE loss to say the least. Oh well, tough luck. Go Louisville I guess.

Given that they had Barnes, Zeller and Hensen (all NBA talent, all three probably getting drafted in the top 20) AND McAdoo, they really had no excuse. Stillman White had six assists in the first half of the game, replacing Marshall...so they still had a guy that was willing and able to get the ball to them in great spots on the court. He's no Marshall, but he did a good job filling the void, regardless. So unfair. Carolina didn't have Marshall. He was a HUGE loss to say the least. Oh well, tough luck. Go Louisville I guess.
For Kansas, there's really only two that will most certainly get drafted, and only one in the first round, and that's Thomas Robinson. Jeff Withey will go to a team that needs a big, but he'll go in the mid-second. Tyshawn will get lucky if he's drafted, and it will be late second, unless he blows up against Ohio State and in the championship game (if we get there).
At the end of the day, North Carolina did what they do best: let Harrison Barnes fail them. And he did. The bigs weren't aggressive, and they put the ball in Barnes' hands, hoping he would deliver, and he didn't. They STILL had their top four scorers in this game, but apparently, they didn't realize that Kansas was one of the few teams that could take both Zeller AND Henson out of this game, because of Withey and Robinson.
