We had several chances to really blow this game outta' whack, but I guess we wanted to purposely keep it interesting and exciting seemingly.

I think we withstood the Celtics having a nearly perfect third quarter where they rarely missed anything. The Celtics had a 28 point 3rd quarter, and so did we, and that was vital. If we'd hit a slump at anytime during the 2nd half this game would have been out of hand the other way around.

Garnett is gonna regret making Artest mad lol cause it made Artest play with more of an edge and score a lot more. Pierce only had 13 points today. When Metta becomes Ron we're darn near unstoppable ;)

"Bryant had come to rage against the idea that Howard's clownish disposition could overtake the locker room, the Lakers' culture, and had warned Howard that he would never, ever let it happen."

We were very close to giving this one away. Brandon Bass missing that open look in the final 35 seconds is what really saved us. No clue why a guy that had made that same exact shot throughout the game would be left wide open on one of the most crucial plays of the game.

I agree with Westcoast. But the rivalry will live on  We're just closing a chapter and another waits to be written.

100% there will be more too long of a history to just fade away, few players here and there and blam back again! Good lookin' out West!!
