[West Coast]

Whether a trade happens or not, this will be the last time you see Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Artest & Fisher versus Garnett, Allen, Pierce, and Rondo.

There is a very good chance that Gasol is traded in the next few days or will be traded in the off-season. Kobe will be back obviously and unless a Dwight Howard trade happens, Bynum will be here as well.

With Allen and KG contracts expiring after the season, they will more than likely not be brought back. Meanwhile, with the trade deadline looming, you could see Rondo shipped elsewhere.

This has been a great series of battles since 2007. We may have lost in the Finals to them, but our guys bounced back to win two titles, including a memorable game 7 win to capture our 16th title.

Enjoy the game Sunday, because this is more than likely the last time you will see this collection of players together in a Lakers/Celtics game.

West Coast is 100 percent correct. This was the last true rivalry in the past decade. But, there will be a new chapter to this rivalry down the road. The one about the Lakers-Celtics rivalry is that they hate each other so much that they want to face each other in the NBA finals every year so that they can "kill" each other all over again. Another thing, they respect each other to optimum level. You don't see teams where there is ultimate hate and ultimate respect at the same time. Usually, there it is one way or the other.

Total 11-11. so, this game is the tiebreaker.

However....we didn't have Gasol in our regular season losses in 2007-08. We didn't have Bynum in the 2008 finals. We didn't have Kobe in 2010 regular season loss. We beat them without Bynum in 2009 in Boston.

So, at full strength,the Lakers have the better record.

Time to whip these chowder headsone more time and send them off to irrelevancy, which is the Celtics Destiny!

I seriously doubt that and for me, a rivalry occurs when both teams beat each other. The Celtics-Lakers rivalry is not only a rivalry because they don't like each other but because of the history and both teams have defeated each other in the Finals.
