The Rockets will give up guard Bobby Jackson, a No. 1 draft pick next season and another player that the individual with knowledge of the trade could not name. Rockets general manager Daryl Morey could not be immediately reached for comment.

Bobby Jackson, filler, and a 1st round pick for Artest?

Shows that his value isn't high as we thought. Some people on CL wanted to give up Odom for him AND take on a bad contract.

That, and the fact that the Lakers can't try to get him now

Yeesh, with T-Mac at SG, Artest at SF, and Yao at C, Rockets could be a tough team in the West.

The Rockets perimeter D is insane now. Artest, Battier and McGrady guarding the perimeter is no joke.

Now the Rockets may actually be able to hang with the Lakers, they could be third in the Western Conference if Artest stays cool. Scary

Guarding them is not the biggest problem.

They guarding us is. I don't know how we will be able to score on them
