Just speculating but given Diaw is looking to get out – the Lakers technically can use their trade exception to acquire him and then re-trade him as an expiring. Perhaps for Calderon? (with a tip of the hat to David Segal for the idea.
Also, Fran Vazquez may finally find his way over to Orlando – Gerald Green and Bobby Simmons contributing on 10-day contracts.
