It could very well happen. I hope the Lakers realize they would be throwing away a season by not making a trade though.

It makes sense to wait for a big move to happen before using the TPE. It would come in handy in case they need to fill in a hole afterward. But, they could just not want to spend more money on payroll.

I know everybody is tired of hearing this, but it's true: We won't know what their plan is until the trading deadline.

it definitely looks like it right now. i mean. yeah the beasley and sessions trade. im good with what happened with the beasley trade. but the SESSIONS trade could have gone through. look at what sessions does when kyrie is off. i dont know what happened with that one. plus. we can get him cheap just for picks. hopefully adding sheed would be official. as well as free-agent zero. at least we sign those 2 im cool. dwight trade is done. lets just move on. pau and bynum for dwight is a nightmare. i am still optimistic that the management would tweak something with this roster. lets just hope for the best till march 15.

Its sad but it is so difficult when you have 15 million wrapped up in average at best small forwards and almost 60 million wrapped up in Kobe, Gasol and Bynum. And why is Mr Buss so clingy to a first round pick that may be pick number 20 - 25 unless I'm missing something???

ONe reason I can think of is that the Lakers FO is really penny pinching right now.....They want the T-Wolves and Cavs to take back some salary, which is something both clubs wants to avoid.....The other reason is that they are still trying for a major move, like Howard, Rondo, or Williams and are saving their trading chips to attain one or a couple of them....
