Interested to see how this game is received by the fighting game community. The "engine" is more suited towards Street Figher but Tekken X Street Fighter will have a Tekken system.

The following characters have been announced to be playable characters in the game. The PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions will feature 5 exclusive playable characters, including Cole MacGrath from Sucker Punch's Infamous series; Sony mascots Toro and his rival Kuro, who dress up as Ryu and Kazuya respectively; Pac-Man, who pilots a Mokujin-style mech; and Mega Man, who takes his appearance from the North American box art for the first game. Both Mega Man and Pac-man will be available as free downloadable content for the Playstation 3 version on the 13th of March.

been following the development of this game and so far it seems pretty well receieved by the fighting game community, there's TONS of content online for it already, everything from combo videos, and character walkthroughs, to the final boss and the ending(check out SRK (http://shoryuken.com) for more of that type of stuff...they've already got a few gameplay exhibitions with some of the big names in the community floating around too...looks dope, will be a major tourney game for sure. though big two will likely still be UMVC3 and SSFIVAEv2012

i'm HUGE into ultimate marvel vs capcom 3, and i know so much about SFxT because i frequent SRK and eventhubs (2 of the major (if not the 2 biggest) fighting game community websites)...and have been into fighting games since the OG street fighter II, so anything "street fighter" interests me enough to where i read the articles.

i would get into this game if i had more free time on my hands, i have about 13 playstation 3 games a lot of which i haven't played more than 10 minutes of, though a few i've beaten already...and i literally only play UMVC3 and more recently, 2k12, and i barely play either of those...

Yeh, I've been playing fighting games since the orginal(s) Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and Virtua Fighter. Started playing Tekken around Tekken 3 or Tag and have been solely focused on Tekken. Haven't played a Street Fighter type game since Street Fighter 2 Turbo for SNES and a little bit of MVC2.

I usually go to tekkenzaibatsu and sometimes SRK.

So many games to play...so little time. I just got Final Fantasy XIII-2 and I downloaded the classic FFIX to my hard-drive and haven't come anywhere close to finishing those. On top of that, I'm trying to get the hang of 2K12. I miss being a kid.

I'm more interested in Tekken X Street Fighter for the simple fact that I'm more used to the "Tekken engine" than I am with the "Street Fighter engine".

Will still check this out; hope I don't get hooked though cause I don't have the time.

Tekken Tag 2 will be released in four weeks and I will be spending HEAVY time on that. I may even start going back to tournaments.
