Lol after today I doubt Boston trades him. On the same note, I hope our FO doesn't get too comfortable with the current squad after this one win.

What Rondo did was simply amazing.... When big O and Wilt did it, the game was different.

And Rondo is a smaller player.,.

Ridiculous .

Too bad he couldn't have tanked a few more games and waited to get traded to the Lakers to have this kind of outburst...

Yep...no way it happens now...

I would only trade Pau if we can get a super star point gaurd, and an adequate insurace policy at the PF/C position that could replace Bynum if he gets injured......Right now, our bench play has improved because Mike Brown has been playing Bynum more with the second unit,,,,something I have suggested several times.....However, if Bynum goes down, we have absolutley nothing to go to down low if we lose Gasol......I don't see anyone on Boston's team that could replace Gasol down low for us, unless they are willing to get rid of Garnett, which I don't see happening......Houston makes more sense if they can give us Lowry, Scola, and Dalembert.....At least Dalembert would be a decent defender and rebounder at the Center position if we lost Bynum to injury....

Lowry Scola and Dalembert? How you been drinking? There is no way Houston does Lowry and Scola so we know they aren't doing Lowry Scola and Dalembert.

Don't be so sure that Boston all of the sudden will be completely unwilling to trade Rondo. Rondo is good, but they need to consider the future of the franchise, so it all depends on whether they want to try and build around him or not. With their Big 3 likely to retire soon, they'll be looking pretty week even with Rondo and they really don't have many assets besides him. On the one hand, I doubt that they would want to become a lottery team, so maybe they'll try to sign some people in free agency to play with Rondo. On the other hand, I doubt Rondo would be very happy losing in Boston if they weren't able to sign some quality free agents and become contenders again.

Whether they want to trade him or not, they may soon have little choice. I don't know that they would trade him to us, since Pau doesn't seem like the best return they could get (not to mention they'd have to give up Bass or others for the trade to work), but you never know...

I've always thought Rondo to be one of the Top 3 PG in the league just behind CP3 and Deron (but not by much). I'd trade Pau for him straight up.

I am still wondering why Boston would trade him. Rondo can do everything on the court. If he had a jumper, he would almost be the perfect player.
If Celtics really wanted to trade him, I guess they would do that only for a star or for young talent.

They should try to trade Allen now because KG is too old already and Pierce is their franchise player. Allen still has a nice trade value being one of the greatest shooters in the game at his age. Besides, why would they want Pau?

There's gold and it's haunting and haunting; it's luring me on as of old; Yet it isn't the gold that I'm wanting So much as just finding the gold; It's the great, big, broad land 'way up yonder, It's the forest where silence has lease; It's the beauty that thrills me with wonder, It's the stillness that fills me with peace.

Clear cap-space.. him and Pierce contracts both expire the same year
