Beasley I can take or leave, but I've wanted Felton on the Lakers for a long time now.

He would be perfect.

I hope this isn't too good to be true. I feel like every team in the league does not want to make a deal w/ us after the Chris Paul debacle.

Oh my goodness, after seeing this I got so wet... haha
Raymond Felton would be a perfect fit at point. VERY VERY VERY FAST! Also strong guy whose contract really isn't that bad for a player of his skill set. Beasley would also be a great upgrade at our position even though some think it is a risk. Honestly people are acting like these 20th round picks we have are gonna get us stars... FORGET IT! Kobe still has 1-2 great years left. Trade the pick and ron artest to the blazers for Felton. Trade the other pick/trade x for Beasley.

Raymon Felton, Kobe Bryant, Michael Beasley, Pau Gasol, Andrew Bynum,
Blake/Fish, Glock/Arenas?. Barnes, Rasheed?, Murphy.

Then After reading this - http://moondogsports...four-year-deal/
http://www.eightpoin...rsuing-oj-mayo/

Lakers would be set, Mayo would be a huge spark off the bench for the Lakers.
All in all, even if the Lakers can't afford Felton, Sessions is also a great fit and something that may very well happen.
Forget the Picks... were trying to win a ring every year, not sit and wait for draft picks to develop...

Things happen over the AllStar Weekend...even if deals don't go down yet, a LOT of talking gets done during that time...

I'd love it if it goes down  But I won't believe anything yet .. Didn't Mitch say we are pretty much sticking with the same squad till the end of the season ?

I thought we couldn't trade our pick because of a new rule or something

You can always trade your pick...you just have be creative. Technically, a draft pick can't be traded in consecutive years...but the loophole:

You can always make a trade that's a handshake type deal. What happens is you make a trade that includes cash or a second round pick. Then, on draft day, you consult with the other team that you had the handshake deal with to find out who they want to pick at that spot.

You make the pick as if the player would be playing for you...

Then, you immediately trade the player for cash or their second round pick or nothing at all.

You can't trade the pick...but once the pick has been made, you can trade the player before he signs a contract with you.

Even a Kemp-sized Raymond Felton is better than Fisher and Blake. Dude was a borderline all-star as a starter just last year and managed to keep it rolling in Denver too.

Thank you for pulling my head out of my ass, that makes perfect common sense.

Yep always felt Denver was stupid to let him go, Kobe is gonna insure he lose some weight too and he's gonna be working extremely hard in practice too hopefully we can get him motivated.

Is Wayne Brady gonna have to Djokovic? - Robert Flores

Right? He fit PERFECTLY into Denver's offense. Even if they wanted to start Lawson, which is understandable, they could've got way better trade value for him.

If we get both we're the best team in the West. Then swing McRoberts for Mayo and we're the best team in the NBA.

Felton/Blake
Bryant/Mayo
Artest/Barnes
Gasol/Beasley
Bynum/Murphy

A lot of this is really appealing. Too bad it's all speculation :eh:

I would love to see felton on the team though. Very quick and can shoot the three.

As for Beasley he would help, but I would rather have a point guard. I don't see us acquiring all these players without giving up some of our pieces and outside the big three we have draft picks and the TPE, but who knows. Anything can happen in the NBA *cough* Chris Paul

people complain about felton being chubby but he is already extremely fast (at least compared to our guards) and would play a great role on the team
