Could the Lakers use the trade exception for Michael Beasley if they wanted to? I'm not too sure how it works.

He fits under the $8.9 million dollars, so yes, but Minnesota would probably want a couple of picks in return.

Yep Beasley works for it, but Minny would want a little more than that for Beasley. Maybe a second round pick and a big. Beasley would be an ok addition. I think Jr Smith, Ramon Sessions, and Gilbert Arenas should be on the radar

Are you sure? Beasley is a FA this summer, and it doesn't seem like he is in their future plans, so perhaps they would take Ebanks, Morris and a 2nd round pick? I'd say make a run at the guy, without using the TPE on him.

Andre Miller fits into the TPE too - and so does Devin Harris (next year).

Alot of players got in trouble. Kobe James Worthy Charles Barkley etc, Doesn't mean they don't mature and their talent takes over. And we need scoring at the 3 badly. Beasley is only 23 yrs old and was traded only due to LeBron taking his job
