I'm pretty sure, given the Celtics history, that they will try to do something to get his rights.

Jesus Christ man... If this guy is going in the high 20s, this years' draft may be amongst the best ever...

this kid is gonna be special. he is the most skilled offensive player since OJ mayo but he has the mental side of it. he's like kobe bryant in that his father made him a basketball genius to go with that talent.
i'd take him top 3. he's gonna be a superstar in the NBA
He's not a top player in this draft. He's going to be a good player but he's not the most offensive skilled player in the draft. I'd take Harrison Barnes over him any day on the offensive side of the ball.

When was Kobe drafted? Was he drafted top 3? No
Harrison barnes is funny because he's a coaster. He coasts, he doesn't bring it every game. Guy could average 25ppg in college at will. Averages 17.5. And Thats with a game tailored for college
Rivers will be better in the NBA just like rose, Irving, wade all improved in the NBA out of college. Why? Because in college you can run a zone and the centers can camp. There is no 3 second violation. Austin rivers is an elite isolation player but isolation is twice as hard in college as it is in the NBA. 3 point line is smaller taking away spacing and centers can camp.
When Austin gets to the NBA he'll have to be defended one on one and the dude has every dribble move in the book along with a jump shot. He'll average 20ppg 5rpg and 5apg in his rookie year.
Harrison barnes is on his path to busting because the guy isn't aggressive. It's the worst quality, it's the Lamar odom quality. He just doesn't push himself, he doesn't go for the kill, he never has. Rivers will toss up 20 shots and only make 5. But he'll keep shooting. That's a rare quality. He's tough minded and extremely confident. Also he's well educated in the game of basketball.
