real talk now.
Eli = 100% 1st time ballot HOFer w/ 2 Super Bowl rings.
Peyton is debatable.

crazy how things turn out.

To say Peyton Manning is debatable is very disrespectful to the guy. He's 3rd in passing yards, completions, and passing TD's ALL TIME. Eli Manning is a very good QB and deserves to be mentioned in the elite group of QB's, but he has two superbowls to his brother's one. Other than that, thats all he has on his older bro.

Dan Marino was a first ballot hall of famer and won ZERO superbowls. If Manning retired today, he would have a very impressive resume, being top 3 in quarterback stats, plus a superbowl win to his name and much more. He's going first ballot no doubt.

We've had great individuals on D but never a great all around D. Our running game has always been trash when the only good consistent rb we had in James was let go.

I still think Peyton made Reggie and Harrison who they are though. Without him they don't get as good as they are. He even made Austin Collie decent.

Reggie Wayne was a beast in college and is a beast in the pros. But I mean, how good could anyone look with Curtis Painter throwing them the ball?

Imo, the only reason Indy's rushing attack was lacking was because (and I've said this before) the Colts were all about Peyton Manning and the passing attack: lots of points, quick scores, shotgun, etc.

Telling you though, if Indy drafts Luck (and it def looks like they will) he's gonna hope and pray they still have Reggie Wayne on the roster.

Picking against Peyton is tough but mannn Eli has so many come from behind victories, wins 2nd superbowl beating Tom Brady twice, won 6 playoff games on the road to get those 2 super bowl rings. It would be hard to pick against either of those guys

how many QB's in NFL History have 2 or more Superbowl wins:

Montana, 4
Bradshaw, 4
Aikman, 3
Brady, 3
Elway, 2
Rothlisberger, 2
Griese, 2
Plunkett, 2
Staubach, 2
Star, 2
Eli Manning, 2

Cant argue that.

Peyton is such a cerebral QB but there's just something about Eli in the clutch that's making me lean towards him lately. Eli can make every throw that Peyton can too.

It's amazing how far he's come because he's gotten a lot of heat every since he was drafted and he still has games and/or makes throws that make you go "WTF" but dude is coming along very nicely (understatement). The key for him now is consistency.

Rings are very important but don't let it allow you to forget certain greats like Dan Marino and Jim Kelly

Eli has as many 4th Quarter come from behind drives in the playoffs as Joe Montana. Hes elite, right there with Brady, Rodgers, Brees.

Trent Dilfer is not even remotely close to Peyton Manning. Dilfer was simply a serviceable QB with a monstrous defense

Wow lmao. Can't believe some people actually believe this . I guess Peyton is only as good as Doug Williams then right? You guys need to learn the difference of a team achievement vs a personal achievement.

Damn I must be drunk too cause I coulda sworn I just saw somebody compare Eli to Joe Montana. I'm starting to wonder if these people even watch football.
