I think this trade works out well for both teams, and especially if the Lakers do sign Gilbert Arenas. This clears up cap space for the Lakers, and paves the way for signing Deron Williams next year.
This years lineup: Gilbert Arenas, Kobe Bryant, Hedo Turkoglu, Luis Scola, Dwight Howard. Bench: Fisher, Goudelock, Kapono, McRoberts, Murphy.
Hopefully Fisher retires next year which will automatically for sure bring in Deron Williams and having Gilbert on the bench as a scorer would be amazing.
The Rockets only giveup Scola, and Martin but in return get Gasol, Anderson who is hot this year, and a solid defender in Matt Barnes.
Starting 5: Kyle Lowry, Courney Lee, Matt Barnes, Ryan Anderson, Pau Gasol.
Magic: Will most likely lose Howard anyway so might as well get Bynum, Martin, and Ron Artest.
Starting 5: Jameer Nelson, Kevin Martin, Ron Artest, Glen Davis, Andrew Bynum.
This deal damages the Lakers bench atm but in the future will be strong. It gives them a scoring starting 5 but as well as an aggressive and defensive 5. Without a doubt the Magic get much better with the deal and at the same time get rid of Turkoglus contract. Houston gets 5 solid players can seem to have a great new starting 5.

If Orlando would be willing to give up RYNO then i'd prefer him to Scola. He's a nice fit next to Howard, is younger, and has a shorter, cheaper contract that gives us cap flexibility.
Not sure if Houston would still be willing to do this, but it could give them something close to that twin towers idea they wanted to try out.
I think Orlando is getting killed, but they would get killed in any deal that involves Dwight.
