i have seen him play with the Magic which is more recent than you have seen Iverson, i honesly don't think any FA can help the lakers but if its between Arenas and iverson., i would take iverson Arenas is slower then Fisher. You can look all over the board and quote me since you have the time but that wont change the fact that even mitch is hesitant to hire a beat up arenas , and according to you we don't need a PG and Steve Blake is a great pg

How do you know how recently I've seen iverson. And Arenas was coming off of injury and his knees were bad, and since he got the Kobe surgery and seems to be looking slimmed down(as in he's trained his butt off) and explosive(which means his knees are much better) then I would take a risk on him. Iverson's problems on the court were always mental, Arenas's problems on the court were physical. So if he has the physical taken care of, I see no reason to not give him a chance. And we'll see Iverson in the D-league.

And the fact of the matter is the statement remains, let his fame form your opinion, and you haven't seen a healthy Arenas play lately or an explosive one or how he looked in the workout so I say let's see him before we form an opinion. If Arenas is in a physically good place he should be fine.

Remember when McGrady was coming off injuries and everyone said he was done? But he is somewhat much healthier and he looks good this season. Why does Arenas not get the same benefit of the doubt?

It quite comical comparing Arenas to Kobe just because they had the same presigure done dosent mean hes getting go even close to what he was fact is he never developed as a player Look at Carter mcgrady and arenas not even half of what they use to be just because he got the same treatment Kobe did dosent make him better, Mitch saw him workout and obviously wasn't impressed or he would of signed him already. Arenas is a desperate move if nothing else happens then we are signing him we don't need arenas we need a PG, something you think we are fine without

They are hesistate to make a move that may jepardise a possible "big"deal, so we all wait an wait for D12 to go. The procedure does wonders and arenas isn't but 30 so I have heard he looked really good in the tryout/workout and will get a call before the deadline next month.

Not really true as he was still looking to sign JR Smith and until today had no idea where he would land. We only have one roster spot.

Arenas should be signed within the week hopefully.

No offense but you're acting like Iverson is our savior and he hasn't played in the NBA in two seasons. You're not any different from the Arenas fans here.

I suppose Lakers don't want to go from "OMG Fisher" and "WTF Metta" to "OMG WTF Arenas".

Patiently Waiting...

did you not read i said no FA is helpful to us the last FA that was of use to us was JR l, all I'm saying is that it dosent hurt to sign him to the defenders but i would take him over arenas because arenas has 2 bad knees and 2 bad hips

Some rumors going around on Twitter that the Lakers may have signed Arenas but there's been no confirmation from a major outlet.

Yeah. Its best not to believe those rumors until Adrian Woj from Yahoo Sports confirms it.
