awesome show. BAD ROBOT runs tv.
I had the LOST feeling for a quick second when at the end of the 2nd episode they revealed the female investigator hadnt aged and was one of the 1960's Alcatraz occupants. A guard I presumed. but who knows.
She was actually a doctor that was brought in, right?

a doctor. if she were a guard Hurley would know.
I think Lucy worked in the lower levels of Alcatraz.

didn't have any luck.
I noticed somethings the 2nd time.
Someone with white hair bumps Jack on his way to the boat dock. Brother, EB Tiller?
Hauser saying things. Madsen asking about Sylvane's brother, Hauser says "he won't be a problem".?? Him saying to Lucy, you wanted kids.? Sam Neill would have KILLED on Lost.
What about Lucy? She was on Alcatraz in the 60's. She treated Cobb, but Jack didn't seem to know her. Doc doesn't know of her(being on the island in the 60's). She said something cryptic to him before she got shot. I think Doc will put things together. She had to run some kind of experiments on the prisoners.
Cheif Warden. More from this guy.
The show kinda reminds me of Shutter Island.
The layers. After just 2 episodes. I'm pleased so far.

Madsen's grandpa knows a lot too. He was the guy ranting to Jack thru the curtain.

Hurley (Jorge Garcia).
Some type of time travel predicament.
A star character named Jack having a moral dilemma.
Its on a Island.
The secret prison is in a "Hatch" somewhere in a desolate forest.
The girl Lucy looked the same in the 60's as she does today (ala Richard Alpert).
The same composer doing the score.
The same logo font.
I dont care if its the same magic trick with different props. As long as I like it. And so far I do.

IMO Al Capone will not be featured on Alcatraz unless they break the established time line.
Capone died in 1947. Capone was on The ROCK from 1922-1939...but anythings possible when talking about some kind of time travel.
However ''MachineGun' Kelly maybe. He was on Alcatraz from 1934-1951. Closer to the timeline but he wasn't there for the SHOWS disappearance because in real life he was transferred to Leavenworth Fed Prison and died there.
But who knows....
