I know Farmar is not quite as flashy as Nick the quick but do you think he'll be as good as him?

I don't think Farmar is going to be an all star.

NVE was a beast when he was with the Lakers.

No. Van Exel was better on offense with great ballhandling skills. Defensively both aren't any better than the other. Decision making? Farmar with a slight edge.
Five guys on the court working together can achieve more than five talented individuals who come and go as individuals.

Van Exel was clutch but settled for alot of deep 3's at times. Jordan got a faster step to the hoop but settles for 3's at times too because a triangle guards job is to mainly stay by the 3 point side which is a disadvantage to his game. I see Jordan as a Bobby Jackson type guard and at best a Bibby.

Doubt it. van Exel was outstanding in college (Go BearCats!!!!). Jordan was above avg.

NVE was just a baller. Defied explanation. Jordan hasn't shown that type of talent yet...

Nick the Quick had major offensive skills, like All-Star caliber .... Farmar has yet to show it but who knows, maybe, but imo i dont think hes gonna be as great as NVE

Nick never shot higher then 42% from the field and his career fg percentage was only 40%. Nick also played a full 4 years of college.
Jordan improved his shot significantly from the field in only his second season. And Jordan isn't even 22 yet so it's to early to say no.

Nick the Quick was better then Farmar when he was with the Lakers, especially offensively. He's a better shooter and he could attack the rim better, even though Farmar's good at attacking the rim too.

Van Exel was a really good player, I'm surprised he didn't get that much better after he left the Lakers.

I am not even sold on Farmar being a starter yet. I wished he would have developed his inside floater like he had in the first year. Now in this triangle offense, he's just launching 3's and for some reason shies away from attacking the basket. Hopefully he can elevate his game and cut down on shooting 3's.
