It would be if he had been in the league for 3 years and played more....His calling card is passing....
his assists to turnover ratio is 1.11, thats troubling.
He only played in 19 games last year for 9 minutes a game and usually in garbage time.

^ playing in 19 games and only 9 mins per for a team lacking a legit NBA starting pg says something also. The kid left college too early, as a result he won't get the time most Average kids get to develop.
We don't have the time or space to develop him anymore with the Nash addition so he is as good as done or #3 for as long as Nash & Blake are here. Even if one of them go down I trust goldilocks more than him. Just my opinion.

If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

Yes, Mitch has picked soooooooooo many productive players since Andrew Bynum. Us fake GM's should recognize. So does Kupchak fake gm's not withstanding.

The only good player out of that bunch is Marc Gasol, and it's believed that the Lakers made the selection for Memphis because they were targeting the brother (Pau, of course) that summer. Douglas is horrible, Farmar is lucky to still be in the league, Turiaf just rode LBJ's coattails to get his ring (and played 17 minutes a night just because they didn't have any bigs, like Joel Anthony was doing). Crittenton had potential, but it never translated. He had enough time to show he could be a player, but LA didn't see anything in him the first half of his rookie season, Memphis tossed him out the door quickly, and Washington didn't think he could play big minutes, either. Won't even talk about Ebanks or the two sophomores, because none of them have done anything, and all three will continue to play that way.Jordan Farmar, Ronny Turiaf, Marc Gasol, Javaris Crittenton(if only he freaking stayed out of trouble), Toney Douglas(who went on to tie the knick record for 3 pointers in a game), Ebanks gets his shot this year. Nothing groundbreaking, but nothing THAT bad really, Goudelock showed signs, Morris has the talent and they still have time. So 8 out of 17. Nothing too terrible.
Though he could have made better picks in some of those drafts, he's nowhere near the worst.
But fake GM's aren't people who want to be wrong but speak on what they feel or see(if it's negative) fake GM's are the type that think Luke Walton for Dwight Howard was possible and call Mitch and idiot for not trying it. So you're no fake GM

Last season I heard these two Mexican guys talking in Spanish about the Lakers
at "Taco San Pedro" in Hawaiian gardens.
When the topic if Darius Morris came up all I heard was "El Morris es mierda" which
translates to "Morris is crap" I started laughing so hard they looked at me I looked
at them and they started laughing out loud too.
Its not uncommon for people to think hes garbage, he hasn't proven himself,
and even when he does I have a feeling he'll just be another average baller.
All I care about is that Morris knows his role, I hated when we had Jordan Farmar
and the guy kept trying to pull Kobe moves off when he obviously sucked.
If Morris becomes the same kind of player I want him out asap.

I wouldn't go so far as to say Farmar sucked.

Did you watch him play? he is a scrub and hasn't proven anything yet.On the ESPN top 500 NBA players...
Spots 11-500 have been ranked...
Morris hast not been listed...
And he will not be in the top 10...
I hope this guy shocks the NBA this upcoming season...
With Blake hurt already, Duhon being certified terrible for years...
I have to think Morris gets some run... At least in the preseason...
From the stories of Morris vs Jennings, there is NO way this guy is out of the top 500 NBA players

Thats in the summer league. Who gives a [expletive]?YES!!!
They guy found his grove at the end of the Lakers summer league...
Leading the lakers in PPG and assists...
I would rank him above Goudelock
I would rank him above Darrius Johnson Odom
I would rank him above Sacre
I would rank him above Eyenga
30 NBA teams x 15 players each...
450 players in the NBA... Plus 50 guys on the street...
And he is still not ranked...
This guy could prove a lot of people wrong this year

G-lock is better than him right now because he actually has proven he can do something unlike morris.
Posted October 04, 2012 - 02:52 PM
they both suck, glock is only slightly betterWhat has G-lock proven? That when you guard him he cant hit his shot? Or the fact that he cannot create off the dribble? How about that he cannot pass at a college let alone a professional level? Or that if you pressure him he will turn the ball over because he has shaky handles? Or maybe that he showed up to summer league out of shape and was rude to the Lakers coaching staff? Yea you are right he has proven he can do something and none of it is good.
I understand that Many of you dislike Darius Morris but the Goudelock man love is pretty silly. The one thing he is supposed to be able to do is shoot the ball and he did not even lead the summer league team in points or shooting % against all of that inferior comp you all love to bring up. if the comp is so inferior he should have had a great summer league but the simple fact is he stunk it up.
