Maybe, maybe. 30/6/6 just doesn't show it.. + he shoots way too much despite averaging about 35/5/7 this month and hitting about 50% of his shots. MAYBE top 5.. fathertime has caught up.

It would take a lot of work, but a list of when Kobe shoots a certain amount of shots and the win % on that would be more interesting.

This is great though. Thank you for your work!

57-25 in regular season has been our worst in last few playoff years, just tells me this is par for the course at best it is worse for the team.

10-1 in playoffs tells me that in playoffs we want kobe to to score 40+. It also tells me the production of rest of team drops in playoffs.

The numbers makes total sense to me.. Exactly the reason Phil wanted kobe to defer to rest of the team and get them ready for playoffs.

Sorry the findings dont match the title of ur thread and actually redeem the Zen masters philosophy..

This is when people use stats from their butt and not think with their head.

ANY PLAYER WHO SCORES 40 POINTS THAT TEAM WILL WIN AT LEAST 70% OF THE TIME ESPECIALLY WITH A TEAM THAT HAS TWO TALENTED 7 FOOTERS.

I guess you have no response to my post. You wont see me telling members to "shut up"

No, but you're going to have members telling you to shut up, because you're clearly pissed off that Drew is STILL not as important to this team as Bryant. This has been your M.O. since you were on your other name. Everyone knows.

Response to your post? A great player scoring 40 will win games the majority of the time, period. Pre-Gasol AND post-Shaq (2004-2007)...Kobe was 29-17 when scoring 40+ points, and that was with Odom, Smush, Kwame, Walton, and a horrible cast. So much for your statement.

Bringing up drew is totally nonsensical in this thread not to mention totally wrong. Very pleased with the amount of touches drew is getting and the way kobe is playing. Funny how drew is proving you wrong and u seem to be upset about it. You bring him up right now when i am not even posting about him.

Back on topic

My statement still stands. Any player scoring 40 points or more will have his team winning 70 percent. That is not a knock on kobe but a statement of fact. Dont forget i included having two skilled 7 ftrs.

Just to reassure you. Kobe is playing great and i love it. He is playing the right way just like GMCD was trying to tell you on past threads.

Drew isn't proving me wrong. Multiple times, more times than I should have done, I have stated that he is the SECOND BEST CENTER in this league. He has played what...33 games so far? He has topped that in EVERY SEASON he has played, so he has yet to prove me wrong about being able to stay healthy. Sorry to disappoint you.

Do you want me to find the posts I've said this in? There are tons.

No, your statement was this:

ANY PLAYER WHO SCORES 40 POINTS THAT TEAM WILL WIN AT LEAST 70% OF THE TIME ESPECIALLY WITH A TEAM THAT HAS TWO TALENTED 7 FOOTERS.

And I just turned you upside down with it. Next...

Just to reassure you. Kobe is playing great and i love it. He is playing the right way just like GMCD was trying to tell you on past threads.

The right way? He's still taking 23.7 FGA/G. If anyone was telling me anything, it was guys saying he should take less, and I argued that he should NOT. And guess what? He has not. Would you like for me to find the topic for you?

You really have to throw in your white flag on this one. I'm starting to hate doing this to you.

The fact is players who score 40 or more will have a great winning percentage. That doesn't change.

I have also stated kobe needs to take quality shots not quantity. He is getting and shooting better % shots and that is the key. He has gone off the reservation at times but not overly so. (not chucking as much and looking to work it inside more)
