Kobe is on another 30+ pts streak. Currently 4 games (3 wins, 1 loss)

Post-ASG Kobe: 27.6 ppg 6.1 rpg 7.1 apg

This could be his best 2nd half of the season in terms of overall production. Gotta check.

Remember when they said LeBron's 27/7/7 and 50 percent shooting were amazing and unlike anything seen before...

Well Kobe as a guard(not a forward) is giving us. 27/6/7 no ones talking about it at 50 percent shooting as well as a shooting guard..

Whenever he looks to pass, he overdoes it. It affects his own offense and he usually doesn't shoot as well.

^ Right, hard to stay in rhythm for him that way cause it's unnatural to him. He's a bonafide killer scorer first & foremost, but unfortunately, with no Nash right now, he has to do this even more (cause he has to even with Nash to some extent anyway) and sometimes his offensive game will be sacrificed unforutnately, but when this team lacks the depth like it does, we just have no choice.

He's hit his career best apg, 6.1 assists per game.

Ever since that infamous Mem game, in 33 games he has 7.8 apg. Insane.

Even by sending an sms he can do good for this team, and more important than the "coach"...

Looking at the Lakers right now, I think he passed the ball too much.

No.  Some players just needed to suck less.

Kobe is doing big mistake by forcing his return from Achilles tendon injury. He should get a full year off, get a good rest and come back next year at 100%.

I am one of his biggest fans, but if he is not accepting a pay-cut, there is no need to bring him back next year.To help this team to have a lot better chances to land an attractive young players, Kobe has to agree on a 2 years deal @ $ 10 million each. Not more.K.Garnet did that in Boston. D.Nowitzky did that in Dallas. T.Dunkan did that in San Antonio and ... the list goes on and on.If Kobe really wants to get his 6-th ring, he has to accept a lot lower salary.Period.

I miss him too </3. Sad to see his career go down like this. Another reason to hate MDA for playing him too much last season.

I think Kobe should just shut it down this season. Cut some weight, and regain some athleticism, work on his game. No way we're getting past the 10th seed this season. I hate to say it, but I think ESPN was generous when they said Kobe was ranked #25. Shot is off, quickness has been seriously severed, and cannot play a single ounce of defense.

He may tease us with some 20 point games, but if it continues like this... Then we're screwed. I'm pretty sure if Kobe cannot regain form this season, he will call it off. Get wll soon, Kob.

I know this is a doom and gloom post, but with D'Antoni, all our point guards being out, Gasol's childs play, and an extremely competetive west, it will be too tough for him.
