They actually called most of the fouls committed on him tonight. Hopefully that's a sign of more respect to come consistently come regular season as well (doubt it).

I wonder if Kobe would rather be playing with other players...
A defense first pg (Avery bradley)
A backup sg that can create his own shot (jr smith)
A sf who can shoot threes (Dorell wright)
A of who can rebound and stretch the floor (Ryan Anderson)
And a center that is serious (Tyson chandler)
Lakers have an all NBA type of starting lineup. And Kobe looks unhappy
Kobe needs other serious people
Steve Nash and Dwight Howard are big time jokers
Metta is insane
And if Pau gasol is the 2nd most serious player...

Kobe is being more efficient than ever. He's shooting the ball well, while not forcing shots, he's destributing the ball and he has that hop in his step. I think he's in for a big season

Has been awesome.
If we somehow land Dwight Howard AND Nash (which is one of the biggest reaches I've posted, don't think that will happen), then yeah...I have no problem with it, because Howard won't allow anyone to take Nash off the dribble 30+ minutes a game.

There is no doubt that the voters will look long at hard at Kobe, if he has a career year in efficiency.
However, the Lakers needs to win the west for him to get any consideration, which will be tough.

Kobe was the facilitating role tonight which he seems to enjoy. He wasn't even in the top 3 scoring last night on our team and we scored over 120+.
If our team can consistently play like that they are scary.
