Kobe Bryant

lets talk about this... (this might be thread worthy as the season goes into its final days)
The NBA scoring title!
Kobe has led the entire year...
A while back, kobe had a COMMANDING LEAD...
Now...
Kobe is only 0.2 points ahead of Durrant...
YIKESS!!!!
Just weeks ago durrant and lebron were at the same PPG....
56 games 1572 points for kobe
55 games 1533 points for Durrant...
Kobe is up 39 points....
Lets say Durrant gets his average (right about 28)
Which would mean kobe would only be up 11 points with TEN games to go!!!!
AND...
The end of the season looks INCREADABLE for this Scoring Title Shoot out...
Lakers-Thunder meet for the lakers 2nd to last game (22nd and last home game of the season) Then, wait from the 22nd, UNTIL THE 26th to play their final Game...
Thunder play in LA on the 22nd at the end of a 5 game road trip. THEN, close the season out with back to back games at home on the 24th and 25th...
MEANING...
Kobe and Durrant go head to head at staples center...
Then, Durrant plays 2 games while kobe watches...
Then, kobe comes out, knowing exactly how many points he needs in order to win the scoring title!!!!
This is epic...
I cannot remember the last time the scoring title went into the last day...
I seem to remember David Robinson scoring 50+ to win the scoring title on the last day of the season once...
I fully expect Kobe to know this
I fully expect Kobe to embrace this...
I fully expect Kobe to win the NBA scoring title this season...
I fully expect the scoring title battle to be the most epic and exciting in the last week as it has ever been in recent memeory (hopefully someone can give us a good story)

All he had to do was take care of the ball, and he couldn't even do that.

I know it's unfair, but right now I'm not sure if I'm ever going to look at Kobe the same way again.

I'm still not over Kobe messing up that badly last game.

IMO, he single-handedly lost them that game at the end. And, he's my favorite player of all time. I hold him to a very high standard.
To me, it's a lot worse than just missing free throws like Lebron does. And, everybody makes fun of Lebron when he does that.

Is it me or did he look extremely tired when we got eliminated. Question. Do we play him the same amount of minutes this season? Or do we limit the amount of playing time next season to prevent exhaustion and possibly injury come playoff time?
Absolutely lessen his minutes (not severely, but they still need to be lowered). He's still one of the most skilled players in the league, but it's clear that the amount of time Mike Brown played him this year tired him out. We need to make some good moves in the off season to get him so help so that we don't need to rely on him as much.

He is not the best player on the court anymore and until he recognizes that he will mess up again like that. He needs to know his limitations.I'm still not over Kobe messing up that badly last game.

If a player like Kobe Bryant doesn't believe he is the best player on the court anymore he shouldn't be playing.
Guy fought like a warrior to the very end. 36 38 and 42 points.
Not the one to blame for the Lakers faults the last two years

The majority of the time he is the best player on the court and in some games he's better than some of the guys at his level KD, Lebron, Wade, and CP3.
And as far as on the Lakers he's by far the best
Kobe's done to much for the Lakers and worked too hard for me to be overly critical about his game.
